The research needed for this report needs to come from academic, peer reviewed journal articles located within the library databases.
E.g. 'Power walking' which is also known as 'race walking' at the elite level. Combining the sport skill with broad search terms such as 'kinematics' or 'biomechanics' will result in a wide variety or research on the biomechanics of the chosen sport skill. This process will assist in deciding which kinematic parameters are most analysed in the chosen sport skill from categories A and B in the assessment.
Select 'Full Text' and 'Peer Reviewed' from the limiters on the right hand side to ensure full text access to peer reviewed journal articles.
Go through the article details by reading the abstract and paying attention to the section marked 'MeSH/Subject Terms' and 'Keywords'. These are related search terms that can be used for further research.
The toolbar on the left hand side has a 'Cite' tool which will reveal citation examples in multiple referencing styles. Select the APA 7th edition version to copy/paste into the reference list.
Note: This will need to be edited in accordance with the ACPE Style and Referencing Guide before final submission.
In addition to the sport skill, add the applicable joint to be analysed and the kinematic parameter from category A in the assessment.
