eBooks are a fantastic resource available 24/7. Search the catalogue and use material type: eBooks.

Library Facilities

Computers
There are 20 computers located within the Library for student use, equipped with:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows Media Player
  • Movie Maker
  • Internet Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Office 2010
  • VLC Media Player 

Laptops
Students may reserve a laptop for use within the Library. 

Printing, Copying and Scanning
Computers in the Library connect to the College’s network to support printing, copying and scanning. Scanning to your email account is available free from the photocopying machines. Colour printing, A3 paper, double sided printing/photocopying and automatic stapling is available.

Re-charging
Card and cash payment  is available at Student Services. Card payment only in the library. Please note that you will need your student card for all transactions.

Off-Campus Students

Books from the Library's Main Collection can be mailed to distance and online students who live outside the Sydney metropolitan area and within Australia. Distance and online students may request photocopies/scans of chapters, provided that such requests are copyright compliant. Fines accrue daily on any overdue items.

Request an item by logging in to My Account with your usual student log in.

  • Once you have found the item you wish to request,
  • Select the item, select action, place hold.
  • Sign out

Requested items will be posted to you. You will receive an email notification when the item has been sent. Items must be returned to the Library by the due date. Fines accrue for materials returned late.

Members of the community are welcome to join the Library.

Borrowing Privileges

Community members to the Library are permitted to borrow up to 5 items for 14 days at the same time from the loanable collections. These items may be renewed once, providing they have not been reserved by other users.

The annual fee for membership is currently $50.

Items from the other collections can be used within the Library and may be scanned or photocopied

Services for Alumni

Joining the Library
ACPE Alumni are welcome to take up library membership. To join the Library you must complete the attached form below. 

Most Alumni members of the Library choose to transfer their student membership to an alumni membership on completion of their studies. Membership is free.

Borrowing
Alumni members can borrow 5 items from the Library's major collections for up to 14 days, with 1 renewal. Some resources are available for use within the Library only. Items can be photocopied - within the restrictions of the Copyright Act - or can be scanned to email.

Reference & Research Assistance
Reference and research assistance is provided by highly skilled staff and can be provided via our Chat service or in person at the Library desk. 

Fee based services including photocopying and Interlibrary Loans are available on request. For inquiries, please contact the Head Librarian
